Where We Work
Two different things happen in this work. Part of it has to happen in your room, with us standing in it. The rest happens on the bench in the shop, before any of it reaches the floor.
On site
Installed in person across the Inland Northwest
Full floors, field patterns, borders routed into existing boards, staircases and finishing all require us in the room, which puts a boundary on the map. That work runs across the Inland Northwest, centered on Spokane, Washington and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Being in the room is what allows the parts of this process that matter most: measuring where the room runs out of square, putting samples on your actual floor in your actual daylight, dry-laying the first courses so you can look at the pattern before it is fastened, and sanding pattern and field into one plane.

Communities we install in
The list is where we go, not a circle drawn on a map. If your town is not on it, name it anyway: the answer depends on what the commission is.

In the shop
What gets built on the bench
A medallion, a border, a panel of field pattern: each one starts as a drawing and becomes an assembly that is cut and fitted dry on the bench, joint by joint, long before it goes near a floor.
Setting that piece into the floor is a separate job again. It gets scribed to what is already there, then sanded flat with the field around it, so pattern and floor end up as one surface rather than two.

Ask about your address
Name the city the floor is in. That single detail decides how the commission runs, and it is the first thing we ask.
